First of all, Missy and Kyle got married. I have known Missy since I was 6 years old, so it was more like watching my sister get married than my friend. Her wedding was held at the church she grew up going to here in southern California, Newport-Mesa Christian Center. Their reception was then at the Balboa Pavilion in Newport Beach. What a beautiful location...located right on the harbor. This was the first night Dan and I had a baby sitter watch our kids. Luckily for us she is more like family than a baby sitter! Kacie has been Kendra's teacher at her learning center for the past year. I think Kendra might love her more than her mommy. Let's just put it this way, she didn't ask Kacie one time where I was. That is love for this little girl! One of my favorite moments from Missy and Kyle's reception is when the DJ placed them back to back and gave them each a pink flag and a blue flag. He asked them a series of questions and they had to respond with the blue representing Kyle and the pink Missy. For example, Who is neater? For sure both "blue" flags went up on that one! Who will do more cooking and they both held up their own flag...just a cute idea by the DJ I had never seen.
