My New Toy

Most of the time my posts are about the kids. This time it is about me! I got a new toy! As most of you know, we love to ride dirt bikes. After becoming a mom, my love for dirt biking did not change but my confidence and desire to try and keep up with my husband completely went away. Not just kind of went away, but totally left me. I got on my dirt bike two times after being off of it for basically two years. It wasn't the same for me. It was a little too fast for my liking and how I now ride a dirt bike. I no longer will do anything to keep up with Dan (as I used to fly like superman off of it and hang from clifs and roll down hills). So I decided to sell my bike for something less powerful. For the past 3 months I have been looking for a CRF230 (Honda). This weekend what I thought was going to end up as my new bike isn't quite what we were looking for. But the next thing I knew (without telling the long version) we bought my very good friend Katie's bike. This is the bike that I rode to know that I wanted a CRF230. Katie has just recently found out she is pregnant with their second child (we are so excited!) and will be getting a new bike when she is ready for one (or can borrow mine-too funny!). Really between the two of us and how much we ride since we have the kids, we could really share the bike! Here is a picture of my new toy (thank you Katie and Stephan!):
