Dan and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary today. Although 4 years is not a long time, we sure have been through a lot in our 4 years! There is one thing about Dan that never changes and that is the one thing that I love the most...he loves this family with all of his heart. Every thing he does, he does for his two kids and myself. So although we have hit plenty of bumps in the road...I choose to look at the smooth path that we now walk down each day with our children...doing every thing we know how, together, to be the best mom and dad (and spouses) we can be. Thank you Dan for a fun night just you and me. We were just going to see a movie but my mom came over early and we went and got a quick bite to eat before seeing a movie. We had a good time but were honestly at loss without our kids...we definitely prefer our family movie nights!
When I look back and think about getting married 4 years ago this song I used to sing when thinking of my future husband comes to mind...I don't know if you're near or far away...But I know that I'm thinking of you today...I don't know if I even know your name...But I know that I'm praying for you just the same...Someday we'll fall in love...You'll be mine and I will be yours...Our hearts will be one...And our love will ever endure...Then I'll need you, and I'll want you...And I'll find you someday...Then I'll love you, then I'll hold you...And I'll be with you always...Our love will be so strong and pure...You will make me feel like I have never felt before...You will be perfect only for me...You will make these eyes begin to see...Someday we'll fall in love...You'll be mine and I will be yours...Our hearts will be one...And our love will ever endure...Your faith for the Lord will be strong...Even though I know the wait is long...And though I'm young I still believe...That you're out there praying for me...

Happy Anniversary! It's amazing how much a life can change in just 4 years! You never think you can love your spouse any more and then you do. Being married is the best!
Hey Jess! Love your pics! :)
I love the words to "Someday" by La Rue too! It played at our wedding before I walked down the aisle. I shed plenty of tears of joy listening to that song leading up to our big day.
Congrats on your 4 year anniversary! I feel it IS an accomplishment due to all that Steve and I have been through as well.
Gotta run, hope to talk to you soon! :) Meliss
