Tonight was all about Belle and Cogsworth!

Papa and Grammie with their princess (and Drew still needing to get dressed)

Just in case people didn't know who he was...he was labeled!
Our princess playing in our neighbors bubbles...very cute idea....bubbles!
At our neighbors house...it was so fun to all be together!

My attempt of the Disney Princess castle on our pumpkin... Every year when I was little my dad and I would always do something different to represent my brother and me on our pumpkins so I asked Kendra what she wanted to do on her pumpkin and she picked a castle. Drew picked basic shapes (with moms help)...thank goodness after doing the castle!
Kendra and Drew have been putting their costumes off and on all day today. I tired to get my kids to rest but no such luck. I don't quite understand how Drew knows what to be excited about but as much as I don't understand it didn't surprise me that he was.
We had planned tonight to go visit the couple of houses in our neighborhood of people that we know and then head to a Fall Fest put on by Compass Bible Church with my parents and our friends.
My parents came over for dinner and brought a yummy chicken chili and cornbread (thank you so much mom and dad). As we finished dinner they helped me get the kids dressed (I was shocked they actually wanted to put them on again after putting them on and off all day). We took some pictures and the kids wanted to trick or treat at their own house. It was so cute!
Then Kendra decided she wanted to walk across the street to see our neighbors. After going to one more house they both wanted in the stroller and were more interested in the candy in their pumpkins. We went to one more house down the street and then headed home.
Once we got home the kids were all about putting our candy we had here at the house in their pumpkins and loved the kids coming to the door. They sat outside eating their candy and playing with Papa and Grammie and passing out candy. I tried to get Kendra to want to go to the Fall Fest but she was just content playing with her grand parents and passing out candy. Dan also has to go to work this evening and is sleeping to get some rest before going back to work. I just didn't feel right going without him so needless to say we didn't do a lot this evening. It is funny how as a mom I can have expectations for how the night is going to go and I have to put my wants or expectations aside and follow the lead of my kids and the desires of their hearts especially when their desires are so pure!
Daddy and Drew
Trick or treating at our house!
Passing out candy at our house (that is my daughter saying cheese...maybe I can think of another word that puts a smile on her face...too funny!)

It looks like you guys had fun. Drew and Kendra look adorable. Like you said earlier, I'm sure Drew will have his own ideas in the not too distant future. Sorry we missed you at the fall festival. The boys had a great time! We have a new addition to our family from the fall festival, Kyle the goldfish.
Okay....your kids are soooo cute! I love their costumes and your castle pumpkin. What a great/fun idea to create those pumpkins!
Looks like a fun filled evening. I'm sure the kids had a blast just hanging out at home. The costumes are too cute...good job! And the pumpkin is very creative.
