Ho-Yo

"Ho-Yo" is what Drew calls the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. We went on this ride for the first time the other night and well, needless to say, we won't be going back on that ride for a long time. It is just too scary for our kids. It was cool for Dan and I to see all the changes that had taken place on it but I definitely remember it being more of the up beat "Yo-Ho" theme song that I told them it was going to be and less of the crazy dead people all sounding scary. Both of our kids kept their heads buried in our laps while Dan and I enjoyed the ride. So Drew has reminded us daily since that he doesn't want to go on the "Ho-Yo" ride again....got it :-)

Drew is so cute! That ride really is confusing. It is so dark and scary at first, and then the second half of it is fun and not really scary at all. I love how he calls it, Yo Ho. : )

I don't blame him. The "Ho Yo" ride can be scary. There's fire, drunkards, barn animals, cannons shooting, jail, skeletons...no wonder you had little heads in your lap!
