Our Fun Kids

Well there is one thing that is for sure...our kids love to have fun! It brings me such joy to see them smiling and just enjoying this awesome life God gave them! One of my favorite sounds is hearing their belly laughs...precious moments to me, absolutely precious!

Many of my friends grew up talking about how they wanted to get married and have kids. I wasn't one of these. I mean I knew someday I wanted to have a family but never really talked about what that meant. I never really had the desire or talked about being a mom someday. I think I was content with just having a mom of my own and just never thought that far ahead. Or if anything, I thought I would definitely be one of the last and I definitely wasn't.
It is amazing how much I love being a mom! It is my absolute favorite thing...just being their mom. I wouldn't trade it for the world and it is something I thoroughly enjoy. I have always loved kids but it wasn't until I "grew up" that I realized how much I truly do love kids, and yes all kids (well especially mine). I was talking to a friend about how much I DO NOT like public speaking and the thought of it just makes me want to be sick (although I think it is funny how most that know me would think the opposite of this but it is true-I am very fearful of it...always have been, pretty sure I always will be) but give me a room full of kids/students...I could talk all day :-)

Here are some pics of our fun kids:

Drew as Shamu's trainer...watch out Sea World, we have a future trainer! Literally a day does not go by where Shamu is not mentioned that is how much he LOVES that whale!

Your kids are precious, Jessica! I love all the pictures you take! I was laughing at you hating public speaking because you are so outgoing. What is funny is me--quiet, shy and reserved--doesn't mind public speaking at all. Isn't that weird?

Missing watching your kids grow up in person.
