Tori and Erik's Wedding

I was so blessed with the opportunity to go to Cabo San Lucas for my cousin Tori's wedding! It was really hard to be away from my family on Thanksgiving day and it isn't something I ever want to do again but being able to be at my cousin's special day was amazing! Dan and I both feel so lucky to add Erik to our family. He is a wonderful person and we can't wait to see all that God has in store for the two of them!

Cabo is one fun/crazy/relaxing/beautiful place! I was blown away by the people in Cabo and how friendly they were. My brother and I flew out together and when we landed we felt we were in the middle of no where, but one fun, interesting taxi ride later had us at the Westin in 30 minutes flat. I walked through the breeze way of the Westin, and said "Hello, Cabo!" It took my breath away! God's beauty is beyond compare...I saw it in Mexico :-)
The picture above was actually taken right as we were leaving but what is behind us is what I first saw when I walked through the entrance of the hotel.

Besides my cousin's wedding of course, my favorite part of our trip was just being with my family...aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, and brother. Dan and the kids were missed BIG time! My favorite night was when we were all (when I say all, I mean all...aunts, uncles, parents, brother, cousins) in my aunt's room until 3am doing place cards for the reception, for it wasn't necessarily where we were, but that we were all together! God truly has blessed us with one another!

There are not words to describe my cousin's wedding. It was personalized, romantic, unique, and emotional. It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to. The ceremony was amazing, the setting was to die for, and the reception...well let's put it this way, my family LOVES to dance! My knees were hurting the next day we danced so much. (I know most people don't know this about me...dancing is one of my favorite things to do...whether it is in my car, with the kids, as I am getting ready, with my mom as we are cooking, with Dan, with friends, at church, if I hear music...my body just has to move even if it is tapping my feet. I am not saying I am necessarily good at dancing but I will admit it, I love to move!) I am going to have to post more wedding pictures later because the one below doesn't do the setting or their wedding justice, not to mention you can't see my cousin's face.
Right after the ceremony we did some family shots with the Owens and the Stoffels. The perfect time to take some pictures with that beautiful Cabo water behind us!

Jesse, my dad, Jake, James, Uncle Jim, Auntie Dawn, me, Cydney, mom
We were all saying how strange it was to take a picture just the 4 of us, usually it is the 7 of us!
I love my brother so much! It was truly a blessing to be able to spend that much time with him! We didn't leave each other's side the whole time!
And this is why I repeatedly thanked God for the special blessing of being able to go to Cabo and continuously kept saying with my arms opened wide, "Hello Cabo!"

You guys look great! I can't believe your brother is all grown up. Gosh, you look so great. You'd never know you're the mother of two! I miss ya and am glad to see a pic of the family as I first met them, brings back some memories when you and Dan were a new couple :)

I'm glad all went well. Cabo looks beautiful! Love your hair and dress in the pictures. I think two families should plan a vacation there or somewhere similar. What do you think?
