Kid Update

Definitely time for a kid update!

Kendra is very excited that it is Christmas! My goal this year is to some how teach my two year old that it isn't all about her and the many gifts that will be under our tree (I say "will be" because I have done ZERO wrapping). I think we are going to make a birthday cake on Christmas Eve for Jesus and sing happy birthday on Christmas day to him (after she opens her little people nativity scene). This is the only thing I could think of that she would understand in her little two year old mind.

She is becoming quite the little girl and surprises us so much each day! She loves to play and laugh and dance and giggle. Those that she allows to get close to her (which is few) really see her unique personality.

Drew is our little man (although little is not the word to describe him). He is FULL of personality right now. He just recently found his voice and let me tell you there are times I think that his voice would be just find if it was still hidden! He has learned to babble and loves to babble, "da, da, daaaaa, daaa"...this makes me really happy when he does this in the middle of the night. He has rolled over a couple of times on his own at random times but tonight was the first time he just did it and realized it and then did it again. If his constant moving feet and hands have anything to do with what is to come we are going to have so much fun chasing this little boy! He sure loves his sister and watches her and does anything in his power to some how get close to her. He is also my little scooter. I put him in one place and two minutes later he is some where else. He always looks at me as if saying, "Mom, is there a problem?"

Needless to say every thing is good. Busy, but good. We are excited for Christmas this year and extremely thankful for the many blessings in our lives!
