Hope every one had a Holly Jolly Christmas! We had a wonderful day at home! What a joy it was this Christmas...not only is Kendra so much fun to be around but her spirit lights us up! The addition of Drew this Christmas made the season that much more special! We love both our children so much and were so happy to have the whole day to just watch in amazement at the two gifts we are given day after day! We have really been trying hard to focus this year on the true meaning of Christmas. As Kendra woke up today I told her it was Christmas. She said, "Mommy, is this the day God gave us?" I said, "Yes sweetie, this is the day God gave us." Kendra then replied, "God gave us Christmas! Today is Jesus' birthday!" So some where in her two year old mind, it came together. It makes a teacher proud :-) Kendra loves to open presents but the thing she loves most about opening presents is the play time after she opens the present. She received a Go Diego Go Animal Rescue Center and spent a good hour playing with it. She then opened a cookie jar with cookies to practice counting (they have M&M's on them with the matching number on the back). She ended up playing with the cookie jar for close to an hour as well. Needless to say, we still have presents under our tree. Christmas lasted a while last year as well! All the waiting in the world is worth seeing our little girl enjoy the pleasures of being a child! Drew too received a few things that went straight into his mouth and were proceeded to be chucked across the floor. We have a definite boy on our hands! I will post pictures tomorrow!

Jess,
What a scary thing for you guys to be going through! I am so thankful for you all that Drew's tests came out good. Does this mean he is out of the woods and on the way to a normal recovery and outcome? I will keep you all in my prayers, esspecially little man! What a trooper and strong guy you've got there!
Anika
