What a day!

I am so tired my words won't be able to express how fun of a day we had today, but I will try...

What a day we had today! This morning Dan had some errands to run and while he was out he picked up some sand for Grammie and Papa's surprise for the kids...a sand box! As Kendra said, "Another surprise from Gammie and Papa!" They have just had such a wonderful Christmas and have enjoyed all the time they have had with their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grand parents! I am so proud of how well my kids have done with the many people we have seen and had the opportunity to spend time with, but they are definitely done.

So today after we ate some breakfast, we watched daddy and Mr. Kerry fill up our sand box with sand. The kids had so much fun playing in the sand box all morning. It is so nice to have something for the kids to do in our tiny backyard.
This afternoon Kendra, Dan, and I went to Disney Princesses on Ice with our friends Sydney, Stefan, Sawyer, and Katie. It was so much fun! We were so thankful for this opportunity and enjoyed every minute of it! Drew got some extra special time with Grammie and he obviously had tons of fun...because when we walked in the door he couldn't stop talking about going for a walk with Grammie and pointing to Grammie and hugging her...it was so cute! For those of you that haven't been to a Disney production on ice I highly recommend it. They did such an amazing job putting each of the princess stories to life on ice: Jasmine, Snow White, Belle, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Cinderella, and Tinkerbell. When we got home Kendra did exactly what I used to do when I would get home from something special I had been to...she played princesses and pretended she was skating on the ice (for example when I was little and we went to Sea World I would come home and pretend I was a dolphin trainer).

As we settled in for the night and began our nightly routine, Drew decided he needed to get in the bath when he was ready...
clothes and all!

Hope everyone is having a week that is filled with joy! Happy New Year! I can't believe that it is almost 2008!

Wow! You must be wiped out. The sandbox is a great idea. Grandparents are the best! I love the picture of Drew in the tub...oh the things kids do.
