We are so happy my mom introduced us to one of her favorite places...Crystal Cove! The kids love this beach. My mom takes the kids at least once a month to go hang out on the beach, build sand castles, play in the water, look at sea creatures in the tide pools, and have lunch at the cafe they have that is right on the beach. It has become a favorite place for our whole family. Over Memorial Day we took our friends down to the beach. It was a cloudy day but a fun day!
Dan is always on a hunt to find sea creatures for the kids to see. They love watching the crabs move quickly across the tide pool floors.

The big boys decided the kids needed to have a hole they could all fit in...the excavation then began:
Drew didn't exactly like it when daddy started covering him up (notice his expression)...Kendra thought it was so fun!
