Hair Cuts

Drew asleep on the couch after a long day!

Ok, so why am I posting about hair cuts? Well besides that both kids got a hair cut today I have to post about Drew's hair color just in case it really begins to change so I remember when it started. Today he got 2 1/2 inches taken off. Usually for a boy that is a lot of hair but for this boy, he still looks like he has a lot of hair. It was getting really long and although I was getting comments from a bunch of people telling Drew he needed a hair cut, that isn't the reason I went. I have really wanted to grow it out to see what he would look like. I thought that the curl might rest a little bit, that it might settle down as it got longer, but it didn't. After trying to style it the past two days I realized how long the top was and how crazy it was and decided it was time to get it cut after all. After she was done I realized there wasn't a lot of blonde left over. I mean it is still blonde but starting to change, especially in the back. It is light brown in color. Dan and I are wondering if it is going to stay this way or if it is just lack of exposure to the sun since it was under all the long curly locks. We will see...

I also have to comment on my two opposite children (although they both have their moments either way)...Kendra walked right up to the lady, sat nicely the whole time, thanked her, and waited patiently until her brother was done with his hair cut. Drew was running around the salon the whole time Kendra was getting her hair cut, he screamed when it was his turn, wouldn't sit for the lady, and threw all the toys onto the floor that she so nicely gave him. Like I said, they both have their moments, but when people tell me how alike they are, I can't help but laugh.

I'm oh too familiar with hair cut craziness. Carter probably has a sheet with his picture on it saying, "Don't help this kid!" at every haircut place around here. I always have to leave a BIG tip.

Ha ha! I always love to hear how well behaved kids are but it's also nice to hear they are all terrors at times. Andrew's tantrums have just started. And you're right, Drew's hair is darker.
