Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Day

Well what a day we had! Dan's sister Shannon invited us to the opening of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disneyland. She is a producer for Disney and was so amazingly thoughtful to think of us when getting the invitation to invite others to the trial run of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! (Say that 5 times fast!)

I know I say this a lot, but Disney is so amazing! They just do everything to a degree that is so special, every time we go there I am amazed by the creativity, the organization, and the hearts each working individual has for the happiest place on earth.

They have you get dressed in their royal chambers as they begin to transform you into a knight or princess. Kendra thought it was so wonderful that she was able to change into her Ariel costume. Before entering the boutique they asked if Sir Drew would like to be transformed into a Knight. Well anything his sister does, he is never far behind! He of course thought this was great although he had NO idea what he was getting himself into. Here is a picture of the fairy god mother's in training working on his hair. They just LOVED his curls and were so excited to try their magic on his head of hair. I just kept thinking, wait until Dan sees these pictures.
Kendra getting her nails and hair done at the same time...she was grinning from ear to ear!
Drew saying, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" and the birds flew the curtains back and the mirror twinkled as Knight Drew was presented...he had the most serious look on his face. I don't think he quite knew what to say or do :) But like I said, his sister was doing it, he wanted the exact same thing!

A look at what his hair looked like...

Kendra getting make-up...
Princess Kendra being presented..."Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo"
Picture taking next to Cinderella's carriage (they also both sat in it too)...
The pictures they gave me from our awesome day! Oh my sweet Princess and handsome Knight!

I bet she will remember this day forever...I'm assuming Drew will block it out of his memory around age 10. Very cute!!
